The Hispanic Entrepreneur of the Year Award honors the success, determination and courage of Hispanic business owners throughout the region. In addition to their hard work, these enterprising men and women have served as role models for their families, friends, neighbors and the growing population of young Latinos soon to enter the workforce. We hope that you will join us in celebrating the remarkable achievements of region's leading Hispanic entrepreneurs.

Here's how this year's program will work.

A selection committee will collect nominations for The Hispanic Entrepreneur of the Year between July 11 and September 15. Applications will be distributed at the Provident Bank locations listed below. You can also apply or nominate an entrepreneur by clicking here.

Shortly after September 15 when Hispanic Heritage Month begins, finalists will be selected. At an event that will take place during early October, the winner will be announced. Members of the media will be invited there to cover the announcement.

The winner will receive:

• Engraved Plaque
• Certificate of Recognition
• Congratulatory Letters for Nomination
• Photograph with Provident Bank Officer(s)
• Photograph with Television general manager
• Photograph with Newspaper general manager
• Appearance on a Television Infomercial (:30” spots)
• Newspaper- Photograph & Feature Article
• Participation in the Annual Award Ceremony
