PROVIDENT  BANK'S DEANNA LINTZ NAMED TO 2005-2006 LEADERSHIP HOWARD COUNTY CLASS

Baltimore Deanna Lintz, Vice President in the Small Business Banking Division of Provident Bank, is among the list of participants recently chosen for the Leadership Howard County 2005-2006 Program. Susan M. Rosenbaum, the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Leadership Howard County, made the official announcement.

"The selection of these outstanding participants was a difficult task," said Ms. Rosenbaum. "Howard County is blessed with a wealth of talented and committed people. The candidates who are selected for this program reflect a balance of interests and backgrounds, bringing an array of perspectives, talents and resources to the class. We are very pleased that these individuals and their respective organizations are making this commitment to enhancing the pool of leadership talent here in Howard County," she added.

The Leadership program was launched in 1985 to develop capable, well-informed individuals committed to formulating plans for community improvement. The program addresses countywide issues in monthly, daylong seminars where these concerned citizens meet with established leaders in business, government and community services.

"The emergence of community leaders should not be left to mere chance," says Stacie Irish, Executive Director of the Leadership Program. "Therefore, we have designed a program to identify and prepare outstanding leaders who are committed to meeting the challenges of community development and Howard County's future."

Lintz is dedicated to expanding Provident’s presence in Howard County. With more than 14 years of banking experience, Lintz joined Provident in February 2005 after serving as Client Manager for Bank of America’s Towson, MD office. She was previously the Bank’s Regional Sales Manager in Howard and Anne Arundel counties.

Lintz attended Towson University in Towson, MD and is the mother of three children. A lifelong Columbia/Howard County resident, she and her husband currently reside in Elkridge, MD.
