Spicher to Vice President within its Small Business Banking Division. Spicher, who is primarily responsible for business development, will work out of the Bank’s Regional Headquarters in Tyson's Corner, Va. Spicher has more than 16 years of business development expertise, is certified in the areas of Life and Health Insurance and holds the LUTCF designation. He is also a registered representative for securities, licensed by the NASD (www.nasd.com). Prior to joining Provident in June 2005, Spicher served as Vice President with Mercantile Potomac Bank and Sequoia Bank in Washington D.C., respectively. He began his banking career at Citibank, also in Washington D.C., where he was named Vice President. "I expect to grow the Virginia Small Business Banking Group and provide our customers with the personal attention they need to help grow their business," said Spicher. A native of Indiana, PA, Spicher obtained his B.A. in Political Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He currently resides in Montgomery Village, MD.
