Richmond - Toasters are toast! Provident Bank has announced an initiative that will put a 2005 Pontiac Vibe in the driveway of one loyal customer. It’s the "Tell-A-Friend and Win-a-Car!" contest now in place throughout Provident’s network of 153 branches from Baltimore to Richmond. The give-a-way demonstrates Provident’s strategy of generating additional deposits through the Bank’s greatest resource…its customers.

"Instead of the traditional toaster or trinket, we want to exceed our customers’ expectations by going the extra mile and awarding them a new car," explained Retail Segment Manager Shelley Martin. The person whom they refer must open a personal checking account and that’s when lucky customer will be entered to win a new Pontiac.
