Northern Virginia - Toasters are toast! Provident Bank has announced an initiative that will put a 2005 Pontiac Vibe in the driveway of one loyal customer. It’s the "Tell-A-Friend/Win-a-Car" contest now in place throughout Provident’s network of 153 branches from Baltimore to Richmond. The give-a-way demonstrates Provident’s strategy to generate additional deposits through the Bank’s greatest resource…its customers.

"Instead of the traditional toaster or trinket, we want to exceed our customers’ expectations by going the extra mile and awarding them a new car, explained Retail Segment Manager Shelley Martin. "All they have to do is share their "Provident Experience" with family and friends. Every time a friend opens a personal checking account, the customer who referred them will be entered to win a new Pontiac. The car is now being shown at branch locations in Richmond. Catch the VIBE coming near you to branch locations in Fredericksburg and Northern Virginia in September. The car will be awarded in early November to a lucky Provident customer.
