Provident Bank recently named Rumela Das as the branch manager of its Dulles Branch located at 2545 Centreville Rd. in Herndon, VA.Das began her tenure at Provident in 2002 and previously served in the positions of teller, head teller and assistant manager, respectively. She will now be responsible for managing branch operations and meeting sales goals while deepening customer relationships. Prior to joining Provident, Das was aCopy Center Associate with Staples, Inc. in Herndon. She was previously a Science teacher at Hem Sheela Model School in Durgapur, India.
"I am very excited about my new role as this gives me the opportunity to make the Dulles branch the best in the district," said Das. "I look forward to coaching my staff to help them achieve their goals," she added.
Das obtained her Master’s Degree in Microbiology from the Government Institute of Science and a B.S. from the Government College of Arts & Science, both in Aurangabad, India. A native of Durgapur, India, she now resides in Herndon.
