December 20, 2005 — Provident Bank recently named Aarion S. Browne as the branch manager of its Forestville Branch located at 2950 Donnell St. in Forestville, MD.Browne has more than 11 years of general management and customer service experience. He joined Provident in July 2005 after serving as Assistant Manager of Office Depot’s Gaithersburg, MD office. Prior to that, he was employed as a Supervisor with Target in Bowie, MD and as a General Manager of KB Toys in Temple Hills, MD.
Browne’s new responsibilities include managing overall bank processes and acquiring consumer and commercial accounts. "I am looking forward to making this a profitable branch in our district and serving the needs of our customers," he said.
Browne holds a B.S. in Applied Psychology from Coppin State University in Baltimore. A former resident of District Heights, he now resides in Forestville.
