Baltimore, December 14, 2005 — Provident Bank announces the promotion of Dana Jung to Vice President within its Risk Management Division. Jung, who will serve as the Sr. Business Continuity Analyst, will work out of Provident’s Rutherford Operations Center located in Baltimore.
Jung has more than 15 years of applicable project management, systems analysis and business continuity planning experience. She will be primarily responsible for directing and coordinating all business continuity activity for multiple business lines, and will identify and analyze key business processes to mitigate potential interruptions. Prior to joining Provident, Jung was employed as a Vice President with Riggs Bank in Riverdale, MD. Prior to that, she was a Vice President with Citibank in Washington D.C. Jung gained her early banking experience as a publications assistant with the Federal Reserve Board in Washington D.C.
"In my role, my goal is to make the process as seamless as possible for my clients, ensuring their personal safety and the protection of their business in the event of an outage or disruption," said Jung.
Jung holds a B.A. in Economics from Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, PA. and is a professional member of the Project Management Institute.
