December 14, 2005 — Provident Bank announces the promotion of Linda Walker to Vice President within its Information Services Division. She will work out of the Bank’s Rutherford Operations Office in Baltimore.Walker, who has more than 35 years of branch automation, systems and operations experience, will be primarily responsible for workflow automation and business analysis. She has extensive expertise with the Metavante System. Prior to joining Provident, she was an Assistant Vice President with Equitable Bank and the former Maryland National Bank, both in Baltimore.
"I look forward to improving operational efficiencies by automating the Bank’s labor intensive workflows," said Walker.
Walker, who originally hails from Baltimore, currently makes her home in Harford County, MD.
