Baltimore — David E. Patzer was recently promoted to Vice President within Provident Bank's Commercial Banking Division. While working out of the Bank's Baltimore Headquarters, Patzer's primary function will be to develop new, and expand existing, commercial relationships. With 12 years of experience in middle-market commercial banking, Patzer has extended his knowledge to multiple fields. Before joining Provident, he served as a Finance Manager at Sylvan Learning Systems in Baltimore, as a Controller for ARAMARK Corporation at Oriole Park in Baltimore and as a Vice President in Corporate Banking at PNC Bank in Philadelphia, PA. Currently he serves as a member of the Built Environment Committee within the Greater Baltimore Committee.In his new position, Patzer said his ultimate goal is to "increase Provident Bank's market share of both commercial loans and deposits in Baltimore." He also said he is proud of having won the Bank's "Results-Driven" Core Value Award in 2004. After graduating with his B.S. in Marketing from Villanova University in Villanova, PA, Patzer went on to earn an MBA in Finance at Temple University in Philadelphia. Born in Camden, NJ and raised in Cherry Hill, NJ, Patzer currently resides in Bel Air, MD. He is married and has three daughters.
