Baltimore — Provident Bank announces the promotion of Melissa P. Kelly to Senior Vice president and Director of Investor Relations within Provident Bank’s Finance Division. She is responsible for managing communication of the Bank’s strategic goals and financial performance to the investment community, financial media, employees and retail shareholders.
"I look forward to advancing the Bank’s strategies through clear, comprehensive and unified communications that strengthen relationships with the financial community," Kelly said.
After studying at the University of South Carolina’s Aiken campus and earning her B.A. in Political Science, Kelly went on to pursue her MBA in 1994 at Loyola College in Maryland. Additionally, Kelly received further professional development at the Consumer Bankers Association Graduate School of Retail Bank Management — a three-year management program that is held at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville each July.
