Garrido, who was recently promoted to Senior Officer, is the branch manager of Provident’s White Flint SFW Branch located at 5110 Nicholson Lane in Kensington, MD. The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Montgomery County exists to promote the development and economic growth of the Hispanic business community in Montgomery County. Garrido will serve on the Board for the term 2005-06 and has been involved with Chamber activities for more than two years as a Board Member. Currently, she is also a member of Provident’s Hispanic Initiatives Team that is working toward making products and services more accessible to the Hispanic market.Garrido has more than 14 years of management experience. Prior to joining Provident, she was the Sales & Marketing Manager for Latin America & Caribbean markets for Invitrogenn Corporation, formerly Life Technologies Inc., a biotech company in Rockville, MD.
