Ritter has more than 25 years of applicable commercial lending, business development and retail banking experience. In his new role, he will be responsible for managing best practices in the Professional and Executive Banking Group. Prior to joining Provident, Ritter served as Vice President at BB&T Bank in Gaithersburg, MD. Previously, he was employed by F&M Bank in Bethesda, MD and at FCNB Bank in Frederick, MD, also as Vice President.
"I plan to grow the Professional and Executive Banking into a fully integrated product line within the bank in order to make it a discernable partner in the progress of Provident Bank," said Ritter.
Ritter holds a B.A. in History/Political Science from the University of Baltimore. He has also taken courses through the Maryland Bankers School.
Ritter currently makes his home in Laytonsville, MD.
