Whipp, who transferred from his post as branch manager of the Smith Avenue SFW Branch, was a previous participant in Provident’s Manager In Training program. He has retail sales experience and was a manager at J.C. Penny prior to accepting his position at Provident in December 2002. "This position will allow me to focus on developing strong alliances with our customer base," said Whipp. "I look forward to providing our customers with the service they expect." Whipp, a Baltimore native, has a B.S. in Business Administration from Towson University.
