Many customers and community representatives were on hand to commemorate the special day. Provident District Manager Francois Verleysen and Community Banking Managing Director Ann Clair helped kick off the celebration by acknowledging the special guests and making several brief remarks. The branch, which was the twelfth to open in Anne Arundel County and the fourth within a Superfresh location, was officially opened after commercial client Jim Wint cut the ribbon. The Odenton Superfresh Branch, managed by Wanda Lee, was the first In-Store branch to receive such high honors from the Chamber, County Council and State Government offices. On behalf of Provident, Lee received proclamations from dignitaries across the state including Senator Barbara Mikulski, Senator James DeGrange, Congressman Ben Cardin, County Executive Janet Owens, Delegate Terry Gilleland, Delegate Mary Ann Lobe, Delegate Theodore Sophocleus, Anne Arundel Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Marcie Wallis and County Council members C. Edward Middlebooks, Ronald Dillon, Bill Burlison, Cathleen Bitale, Barbara Samorajcvyk and Ed Reilly. "We are excited and honored to have the opportunity to serve this great community and to give them access to the best products and services available," said branch manger Wanda Lee. The Odenton branch is open seven days a week, Monday through Friday 10:00a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Sunday 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
