Desai, who originally joined Provident in January 2002, has more than 14 years of applicable sales and customer relations experience. Prior to joining Provident, he served as the Operations Manager for Geico Federal Credit Union in Chevy Chase and as Branch Manager of Chevy Chase Bank in Bethesda, MD. His responsibilities include increasing branch growth, building profitability, and focusing on employee development.

"With team support, my hope is to grow this branch to the next level, perhaps even make it a commercial branch," said Desai.

Originally from Vadodara, India, Desai holds a B.S. from MS University and is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Success Network and the Asian American Society. He currently resides in Germantown, MD.
