Baltimore, December 22, 2004 — Provident Bank recently named Darren G. Hicks, Sr. branch manager of its Bowie Superfresh branch located at 4825 Glenn Dale Road in Bowie, MD.
Hicks will be primarily responsible for overseeing all aspects of the branch’s daily operations and its staff. Prior to joining Provident, he was an assistant manager with MBNA America in Hunt Valley, MD. His past employers include MD Details Specialists in Glen Burnie, MD where he served as general manager and Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Linthicum, MD where he was an inventory manager.
"I hope to effectively manage the branch in order to exceed its goals," said Hicks. "I am excited about being in a role where I can make a significant impact on the company’s overall success."
Hicks is a graduate of Morgan State University where he obtained his B.S. in Marketing. He currently resides in Randallstown in MD.
