Barros will be primarily responsible for managing the Georgetown branch and staff based upon his expertise in customer relations and computer programming. He was previously an assistant branch manager with the former Southern Financial Bank that was acquired by Provident in May 2004. Prior to joining Southern, Barros was an accounts payable analyst with ICF Consulting in Fairfax, VA. He also managed Gold Leaf Bakery in Suitland, MD for four years. "I hope to grow customer relationships and improve Provident’s presence in the DC area," said Barros.Barros is originally from the country of Brazil and currently resides in Fort Washington, MD.
