Baltimore, August 16, 2004 — Provident Bank has announced that it will open its 147th branch on August 25, 2004. The branch will be located inside the Manassas Liberia Shoppers Food Warehouse (SFW) at 9540 Liberia Avenue in Manassas, VA.

The Manassas Liberia SFW location, which will be managed by Rachna Singh, is the bank’s seventh branch office in the Prince William County section of Virginia. This coincides with the bank’s recent expansion into the Virginia market following its acquisition of the former Southern Financial Bank.

The Manassas Liberia SFW Branch will celebrate its opening in conjunction with the grand opening of SFW on August 25, 2004. The branch hours of operation will be: Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
