Baltimore, August 13, 2004 — Provident Bank has announced the promotion of Myrna Kennedy to Senior Vice President in its Credit Administration Division.
Kennedy will be primarily responsible for protecting the credit quality of Provident’s commercial loan portfolio with her extensive background in commercial credit decisioning. She has previously served as a Commercial Banking Loan Officer, Credit Department Manager and as a Banking Credit Officer during her 18 years at Provident. Prior to joining the Provident Team, she worked with Baltimore-based Capital Savings Bank. She was previously employed with First Financial Credit Union in Lutherville, MD and Westinghouse Credit Corporation in Towson, MD.
Kennedy’s professional memberships include the Robert Morris Association, Chesapeake Chapter, where she was the Past Member of the Education Committee, and the Center for Financial Training, where she is an instructor.
Born in Cazenovia, NY, Kennedy attended college at the Oswego campus of the State University of New York. She currently makes her home in Baltimore.
