Baltimore, August 13, 2004 — Provident Bank announces the promotion of Marian Denny to Vice President within the bank’s Human Resources Division.
Denny first began her tenure at Provident as a Teller. Since then, she has served as a training specialist and training manager with specific interest in systems training and course design work. In her new role, she will manage staff and training projects related to various branch systems and processes for the University of Provident—the company’s Training and Development department.
"I am excited about our growth into the Virginia and D.C. area," said Denny. "The University of Provident concept brings new opportunities to touch other areas of the bank beyond our branches," she added.
Denny is currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration from Strayer University. She resides in Baltimore County.
