With more than 12 years of bank treasury experience, Brooks, the bank’s Liquidity Manager, is responsible for managing funding for Provident Bank. Brooks previously served as Assistant Vice President. Her other posts at Provident include serving as treasury investment portfolio analyst and as an internal auditor. Before joining Provident, she was a staff auditor at the former Bank of Baltimore. "I am pleased that my promotion coincides with Provident’s recent acquisition of Southern Financial," said Brooks. "I think working for the ‘New Provident’ will be exciting and motivating." Brooks holds an MBA from Loyola College in Baltimore, MD. Additionally, she also holds a B.A. from the University of Maryland at Baltimore County in Economics/Finance. She is also a Certified Public Accountant. Originally from Severna Park, MD, Brooks resides in Glen Rock, PA, where she lives with her husband and raises angora goats and border leicester sheep.
