Baltimore, February 7, 2003- Provident Bank announces the promotion of Michael F. Pehr to Vice President. Pehr manages the HelpDesk, Desktop and ATM Support areas of Technology Management in the Bank Operations Division.
Pehr has twenty-three years of experience in management and information technology. Prior to joining Provident Bank in 1998, he spent eighteen years in the U.S. Army, most recently managing and implementing telecommunications and data services in Germany and Bosnia for the Commander, U.S. Army Europe.
Pehr received an associate degree from Georgia Military College at Fort Gordon, Ga. A native of Pittsburgh, Pa., he currently resides in the Catonsville, Md.
